KISS bass mogul Gene Simmons - who is known for his harsh stance against drugs and who recently said he never got drunk or high in his life - is now working on promoting a Canadian recreational marijuana company called Invictus Strategies MD Corp.
Chairman and CEO Dan Kriznic stated:
"Gene Simmons is a branding and merchandising genius, who not only created one of the most iconic bands of all time but has spent decades building successful brands internationally in various industries.
"Gene will lead marketing initiatives that will help spread the positive messages that dwell at the heart of Invictus in accordance with the strict regulations of Health Canada's Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations, the Food and Drugs Act and the Narcotic Control Regulations."

what the fuck
how and why
rock and roll
fuck Gene Simmons, dude is a complete dickhead
Gene Simons sounds like my grandma - anti-drug all her life but now she plans on growing pot.
I'm not surprised to learn that the guy who wrote "Rock N Roll All Nite" has supposidly never gotten drunk or high in his entire life until now.
A lot of old rockstars i used to listen to have turned from "burn the establishment, fuck the status quo" to "pirating is as bad as murder, you need to always respect your leaders" ect. Gene is like #1 with that shit, like yelling at the cloud and bitching about pirates taking away his money. Seeing him flip on his drug stance doesn't surprise me considering the dude always seemed like a massive con after he stopped making music.
I never hated Kiss even if they were basically the definition of a "corporate" band, but he has absolutely sunk my opinion of them, as ridiculous as that is. Same goes for Keith Richards; he's such a colossal cunt that it's soured my opinion of the Stones
i'm sure he can't wait to stuff all the money he'll make in his gene simmons patented dollar-sign money bags
Okay so looking up the situation with recreational in Canada, but from my understanding of where it's at you take an industry that's soon to be legalised and will need the best PR start possible, then you add Gene Simmons. Who has numerous stories of burning bridges with presenters and seems to have actively tried to piss off anyone possible with stupid PR/Legal catastrophes.
Reminds me of how Trent Reznor told people to go pirate his songs when the label was taking him up the rumpo dungpipe, and now he's screaming like the biggest baby in the world about piracy.
Gene was always like that though, a massive poser who's always been in it for money and not for the joy of it all.
