Wow! Now only if someone would date me!
Do autistic people actually walk on the balls of their feet?
It depends. It's called the autism spectrum for a reason.
I hope not, I've been walking on the balls of my feet since I was a kid whenever I don't wear shoes because the tendons in my ankles feel tight and I'm flat footed. I don't think it's a defining trait of autism though.
I don't walk on the balls of my feet, but my most autistic trait is randomly clapping when I'm excited.
oh god the clapping I can avoid doing it when other people are around, but it happens subconsciously when I'm alone.
What about when rubbing my hands when I'm happy or exited, sometimes I do it without even noticing. Maybe I'm secretly a jew.
I've been diagnosed with autism and I walk on the balls of my feet and habitually rub my hands together. I guess different folks on the spectrum have different ways of stimming because my college course SpEd professor had autism and did neither of those things, despite being "deeper" on the spectrum than me.
Me neither, though I am uncertain on "how do normal people walk?"
i think this covers everything https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sg6zbHhp1bE
