Why doesn't the workshop have a category for hunting bow skins? I have players on my server who would love to have skins for the bow, but it appears that Facepunch doesn't have support for it?
i mean i wouldent want a skin for a stick and a string its so thin of a stick you wouldent even notice it was there
Well, that settles it. parzival7 doesn't want it.
There's tons more you can do through skinning than just replace the existing skin shape.
Dunno, why would we need that? I mean nobody is painting is fucking bow in real life. Sometimes I gonna paint my dick, but a bow?!

I'm a server admin and players ask for it, that's why I am asking for it
If an admin runs plugins like skin perks where skins give items special powers, you can't give a bow a special power without a different skin. For instance, a bow with 2x damage.
People creating skins won't just color the bow. They may create skins that push the shape and design of bows.
The request goes well beyond the short sight of the last two posters.
They are planning on bow skins, but holding off until they replace the current bow with a more substantial model.
The bow remains a useful weapon until mid game (for those not liking the crossbow) so it's "time on screen" might be greater than many other objects. I would like some skins for it, just not garish.
True, the simple round stick of the bow (aborigen bow) is hard to decorate but overall several fine details will change the appearance of the primitive bow (wider shaft, those fluffs on the string and at the end of thes haft, leather handle, engrave and/?or paint on the inner shaft and arrow, arrow tails [[some use for those chickens new slaughter - tail feathers for arrows]], and so on.
