Can see through objects

I can see through objects in the game such as player build structures (walls, chests) stone nodes, trees, basically anything you can break/build. It makes playing the game not so fun, as i sometimes run into traps. And i can see into bases, which i am sure is breaking rules. An answer to this problem would be appreciated.
