Holy shit I always thought those "game not included" things were a joke about how unnecessarily overwhelming and expensive collector's edition are compared to the product they're based on.
For the price they ask for, they could at least slap a sticker with a key to download the game somewhere or something.
I think Jim has missed the whole point of the collector's versions without the game. It prevents you from having to buy the game twice if you want the collector's stuff, but purchased it digitally. If you compare the Battlefield 1 CE with the game, to the version without the game, the one without is $60 dollars cheaper.
Though I do agree that they should probably have a name change.
I think the point is for the price of them they should come with at least a key for the game seeing how collector's editions are massively overpriced.

Or rather, prevents you from getting the game twice in case you purchased it digitally. They could easily put a copy of the game in for how expensive these are.
