Jesus, it's already at 3 and a half hours.
To be absolutely fair, I have been lost on CCW wiki for hours at a time when someone brings him up. Its like reading about a disaster that literally just doesn't stop. Like a car crash that has been going since 2005.
To be fair none of those people did constant vlogs.
Is it weird I would buy a bluray of the completed documentary?
Can't believe he was the first Let's Player
Fuck u slowbeef
Do you think over time, people who don't frequent the internet will get more and more aware of the extent of the documentation and become severely creeped out? They weren't around for when things slowly snowballed to such a huge point.
The good thing about this documentary being so thorough is the later parts of the documentary even show how and when a lot of this information was leaked out. That's not to say there aren't people who are currently creeped out at the Truman Show-esque nature of Chris-Chan's life, though.
God the story of Bob is so depressing. He just wanted to see his son have a stable life, he didn't give up on him until the day he died
This part made me incredibly depressed. And that's the entire way of describing Chris-Chan, depressing.
In Part 4 - That trolls email response to Chris's art request is fucking incredible.
I think it's just a morbid curiosity itch that he scratches.
Jesus Christ, I've hope the guy that makes these videos gets a job making funded documentaries, but I can't watch over three hours about some guy who's infamous on the internet. Its a little weird, but the format makes it incredibly interesting.
Ironically Chris could probably be a really good actor given the outrageous amounts of people that noticed him on the internet and kept meticulously following him. He is practically the only person of this category that I know of who is paid such a massive amount of attention to.
Another theory is that he is the greatest internet troll in existence and that his entire life was a fabrication, which would also make him one of the greatest actors of all time.
Plenty of people thought that the deaglenation dude was real until he revealed that he was playing a character, maybe chris chan is like that except ten times more serious.
I can't even imagine the person at Nintendo's reaction to his video.

Being oblivious to all this when it happened I can only imagine how much worse it's gonna get but I'm constantly torn between feeling awful for the guy and feeling amused at it
Ending of episode six is rough tho, dude had that thing since he was in high school and he obviously cares a lot about it. Fucked up guy or not it still seems excessively mean
"you invaded Poland, now unvade 'em!"
"I'M WORKIN ON IT!"

He's still around so you never know it could happen
There's more documentation on Chris than there is important figures in history. Incredible.
Chris is an amazing specimen. He went from a man-child to the human equivalent of the high off every single drug, drunk from constant 99% alcohol consumption, all chromosomes lost 4chan shitpost.
truth be told, i actually pity chris.
Imagine holding a new born Chris, never realizing how wrong it could go. It makes me terrified at the possibility of being parent one day.
Chris-chan is a prime example of the failure of the mental health systems we're dealing with. The current state of things for him could have perhaps been at the very least lessened if more thorough care had been taken during the developmental stages.
To a certain extent, I think that all the people who follow him can see a little bit of themselves in him.
And also Terrible parenting. Since his home is pretty much a landfill and his parents are walking "God-Fearing" caricature types. Well, one of them, since the other one croaked.
It's honestly really depressing seeing his whole story, It's like there was nothing that could of actually helped this ship from crashing into a iceberg.
I've only ever heard whispers of this man, from places like Sleep Cabin and Oney Plays, but I know next to nothing of CWC.
I finished the first video and it's fascinating, the sheer amount of Hollywoodesque moments in this boy's life astounds me.
I need to watch the rest of these, I need to know more about this man.
At that time, mental health was still a "taboo" thing, in a way... I can't blame them for how they raised him... they did care about him, they just went about trying to take care of him in the wrong way (by today's standards). It's unbelievably sad, and I've always felt bad any time I've laughed at the CWC legacy.
It's just an all-around fucked up situation. If anything, CWC's story is to be seen as an example for mental health.
The bluespike saga was probably the worst of it
I just watched all the parts of the documentary in the OP. I had never heard of this guy or anything related to him before
I think everything about this is incredibly sad and those trolls did some seriously disgusting and simply fucked up things to the guy
What the actual fuck
