So basically I'm looking for a new chair, currently sitting on a old ass Ikea chair and even though it's fine in comfort, the recline mechanism is broke so i can't let it stay in one position so that's why i'm looking for a new chair, figured i might ask if any of y'all would recommand me some chairs.
I'm using a Sedus Concept One, got it from a used office furniture outlet for £25. There's a load of adjustable bits on it and its fairly comfortable aside from the bare plastic armrests. If I were you I'd look up "Used Office Furniture" online and try and find a place locally, usually they'll let you look around at the stuff they have before you make a purchase and they'll usually be at a discount.
Got "Marcus" from Ikea it's really comfy but the price is pretty high. If you use it a lot I say thats it's worth it tho. https://www.ikea.com/se/sv/images/products/markus-arbetsstol-gra__0324506_PE517017_S4.JPG
I got the same chair and it's real fuckin' nice. First chair i've had with a full-length back and god, it's nice to be able to lay your head back once in a while.
your gf is sat on marcus from ikea too, didnt say anything about a chair though
I use a chair from my old dining table set.
I'm currently in my office chair, which is a Malmstolen 4000. It's pretty goddamn pricey at like $500 a pop, but I mean, I didn't pay for it so I think it's pretty good. And if you've got the money to splurge, it's really great in terms of ergonomics and lastability. I've worked here for 3½ years and the chair still works like on day 1, and it's not like it was bought the day I arrived. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/110384/9acbbbdf-953c-49a0-84c4-d2922df36854/image.png
some shitty plastic ikea chair that came with my flat, it looks like the ones you get in schools yet somehow worse I wholeheartedly do not recommend it, never cheap out on anything that goes between you and the ground for long periods of time. (shoes, mattress, chairs)
im using a metal fold out chair from the 1980s with a pillow for a cushion it has decent back support and gives you plenty of room to move your arms and feeties 10/10 imo
I just use a folding chair that's cushioned.
I'm using a La-Z-Boy Brahms, it was $200 US from Staples but DAMN is it comfortable. Helped with some back issues. Though if you're asking about non-desk related chairs, it's hard to find a good comfortable one anymore. I've been to several furniture stores and all the recliners felt like ass.
I have a herman miller aeron expensive as shit but holy hell, since i got this chair practically all of my back problems have disappeared. I used to get lots of tension in my upper back from sitting on cheap office depot / amazon basics chairs, I decided to go all in on an Aeron and I don't regret it
i dunno but its broken in half and ive nearly died trying to get out of it several times would not recommend
I got a 40 bucks chair last summer that's already falling appart. Supplementing it with a pillow.

I'm using some cheap $100 from Staples. It's okay I guess.
What chair are you using? Mine Would you reccommend it? No I'm using it
I've got the same chair, it's excellent. Got a good deal on it too since I bought it second hand. There is a reason why it seems to be the goto buy-it-for-life meme chair...
Hah, same, bought mine at Staples in like 2009. It was getting a bit tatty a few years back and I didn't want to spend dosh on a replacement since functionally the chair is still great. Spent an afternoon reupholstering it with some faux leather and stuffing I bought from an crafts shop, good as new.
im sitting on the bus. not bad, it's got heating.
Shitty 90's green computer chair that looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/7DEKgo1.jpg but in green. The up/down tilt lever broke off making you slide off all the time and the piston is starting to fail causing it to occasionally collapse (not dramatically) when sitting down on it. Up down lever still works though. It's been passed down from family member to family member and I wouldn't give it up for the world. TL:DR: Don't get a shitty armless green computer chair. I wish I had those arms man.
I've also got an IKEA Markus on recommendation from a few people but I'm not sure if I would recommend it myself. It took me a while to get used to and it is pretty hard, some people are into that though. The full length back is nice though.
I have a Broyhill Executive Chair. The comfort is alright but the ergo leaves much to be desired. The edges of the faux leather is degrading and the actuator is not working. I have an ergo 3M adjustable keyboard so I removed the armrests. The tilt is alright but gets annoying if you want to do anything productive. I also had a cheapo generic ergo chair from Staples. I bought on the basis of it having a bunch of ergo features but it was a literal pain in the ass. It felt like my shit was being compacted into my bowels. I couldn't sit on for more than a couple hours straight.
DXRacer. It's great
Marcus from ikea too but avoid the cloth chairs unless you want cummies stains
When I am sitting, I use a shitty no-name office chair, but I'd actually recommend that you check out standing desks if you want something new. They're nice.
I'm using one of these http://www.needforseatusa.com/ - the office comfort one. Despite the potential ricer look, I've had the thing for years and the seat still feels brand new.
I'm sitting on a couch and I can recommend doing so
i'm using my bed
Got myself one of these for under $200 a year ago to replace a POS generic office store chair which had no cushion left. For the money I had at the time, I'm pretty happy with it, though I would still read the reviews before getting it, and weigh your options. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003G4OJK4/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=
