I found myself buying the avatar expansion early on only to discover that it would cost a lot more coins to get back my old FP avatar. Could there be a future feature to reset my avatar size and refund my coins?
Honestly you could've figured that out by the time you were 3 coins in and you make that in a day just browsing threads so it probably won't happen.
Refunding coins pretty much negates the purpose of it being a coin sink.

There is no warning about the cost increase on that page. Most will figure it out, but there can easily be a message about cost for the few that don't right away.
The price it clearly states increases...
There is no reason to give forewarning to those who may just assume it stays the same.

I was spamming side increases to get back to 80x80 and didn't notice the price increased with each successive purchase. Spent ~150 coins before I realized.
Obviously by the people posting in this thread, the price listing is not enough warning.
I did too, but it's really not too much to get one. At ~4 coins a day, I could have a new background around every 5 days if I wanted to sink my coins into that rather than my current objective of getting my oldpunch avatar back.
Not even refunding the coins but just resetting the avatar size because now mines some stupid value that none of the templates match.
or people need to learn to read the numbers on the price label lol it literally updates the price as you click it man

Avatar sizes are permanent I don't see what's the problem with spending a few pennies on it.
They were never 'allowed'. It always said "backgrounds should not be animated", but it was bypassed via an oversight on his part regarding file-formats.
This is how Guts would react to not being animated.

Wasted 120 coins but eh, I'll make it back in like 2-3 months max.
