• Missing textures for my playermodel.

I lately made a playermodel and was finally done. When I started the game, I was able to see the playermodel and apply it, but It didn't had any textures. So I want to know what I did wrong. If you need the files feel free to ask. You can even change it for me how it's the best. And if you are giving me instructions, please don't make it complicated. I am not really good at computers. Make it simple. Thanks for the help by the way! -Assassinbunny.
Again, I am not good with computers, I didn't knew what place I had to put it in.
By "it didn't have any texture" do you mean it had was purple and black or it was invisible? If it's purple and black than you just put the wrong path file, if it's invisible then you probably used LightMappedGeneric instead of VertexLitGeneric.
It was purple and black.
Then it's an easy fix, just make sure the path file is right, it's complicated at first in source, but I have already explained how so instead of writing it I'll just link you a thread where I gave out an answer: Just ported a model but 2 issues occured
By putting a disagree on my answer does that mean that the fix I put didn't work or that you don't think that's a correct answer? The source purple and black textures is 100% a problem with either the VMT or the model itself (model having wrong texture names or wrong path file).
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
