Ha! That reminds me of my mut of a hound. She understands our commands perfectly but is too stubborn to listen. That is until we don't give her her ball back.

It kind of does suck that for the most part it's only possible to teach dogs through present moment consequences, they have no concept of past mistakes or future mistakes.

Why am I not buying this video is real.. Convenient foot hover over trap, stock sound when the trap closes, dog seems to just be mildly inconvenienced immediately after the trap closes on his leg and finally jump cut to outside scene! Dogs well trained though, can't knock them for that.
