• A glass cup that does not warp/distort what's inside of it.

Is there a glass cup available somewhere that does not magnify or alter the image of the liquid inside of it? Or is that only possible with plastic? Is getting a square cup the only solution to prevent the lens effect? I also noticed potential distortion with the color compared to having the liquid in a disposable plastic cup, could that be solved as well somehow? Would I require really thin glass for that to work? Is the warp and the distortion effect happening because the glass cup is made out of relatively thick glass? I noticed that one of my local store has ones that are pretty thin. I believe that test tubes are usually really thin for visual accuracy.
depends on what exactly purpose you need this for
Could you give me a few possibilities? If you briefly throw out a few ideas I will probably pick the right one. I can say that the liquid is not hazardous or overly hot.
I just need a glass cup that makes a drink inside of it look the way it looks inside of a disposable plastic cup. All of the glass cups that I tried so far either warp or magnify/somewhat hide the color to an annoying degree. I have been thinking of getting a completely square container so that the warping effect does not happen because of it being a circle.
The distortion comes about because glass has to be made much thicker than plastic in order to not break. Try a good quality wine glass, those are usually made of much thinner glass than other types of glasses.
what is it you are trying to do?
he's making mustard gas report him
