Digital video turns to static after signal loss
My first thought seeing the guy putting his arms out was that it looked a bit like he was embracing you, so I wonder if it is meant to indicate that there's a simple way to beat this game super quick like Far Cry 4? That'd be kinda neat, and handled in a more clever way to the last one too.
I'd offer to play with you but I don't enjoy playing on the time of other people, if they aren't on my time, I'm not playing with them.
So fucking cool finally seeing this out in the open. I worked on the helicopter crash sequence at the end of the clip
It's just around the corner so I'm blue balling myself with videos but now I really want to see this
FC5 looks brilliant fam
I still thought it was a clever idea in Far Cry 4, but I just mean the way there's ambiguity in what he's doing with his hands allows it to graduate to a level above. It's really cool that they did this again. I, admittedly based on the limited gameplay I've seen, think this Far Cry will be my favourite so far. The humour in the missions I've seen has been really funny but the main villain and basis for the plot really appeal to me on a personal level too.
Colour me interested for once! This looks good and, am I sensing a bit of an eerie ambience to it?
That's kinda ballsy for Ubisoft tbh, considering their track record of trying to put in filler material. Honestly though I like secret alternate endings. Probably the most recent example was Prey. If this breaks the usual FC formula just some more then I'm intrigued for this game.
I really wasn't sold by the setting until seeing some of the newer revealed stuff. The introduction has me waaay more interested in the story than other Far Cry games.
They also announced on the live stream, the map editor has assets from: Far Cry: Primal Assassins Creed: Black Flag Assassins Creed: Unity Watch Dogs 2 And the assets added by the DLC's will be free in the editor meaning you can use them, even if you don't own the DLC's
Yeah, the instrumental of Amazing Grace as you're escorting the father to the helicopter really set the mood imo.
That was announced a while back, but it's still really cool. I'm debating on buying the game largely because of the map editor as well as the Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon inspired DLC packs.
A lot of people here happy to see it get released. The whole setting just looks boring to me, especially since Far Cry was always in more interesting places before. Then again, I'm also burnt out by Far Cry, got the same repetitiveness as Assassins Creed, same ol go to next tower, collect all the things etc. At best I'm more interested in the DLC. https://i.imgur.com/8bfiAOY.jpg Could have potential to be as fun as Blood Dragon.
DId that civ just jump into the fucking blades ? Looks like they've outdone themselves.
It's an interesting twist for sure, but they can't keep repeating this "bad guy with an army" premise forever tho'
I'm really tired of long cinematic pseudo interactive cutscenes. Maybe it's because I'm getting old and I have less and less time for video games but I want to play right away
The amount of dread felt just by watching this scene is enormous. Excellent ambiance.
Same reason any game gets delayed. The production was led by Montreal with Toronto and few other global studios that did specific features like animals and world activities.
I've been searching for the audio of the people in the church singing Amazing Grace, no thing so far
Still love that they're showing glorified cutscenes instead of actual gameplay
The video is called "the first 11 minutes". If the first 11 minutes is a cutscene then what do you expect? Besides, there's more gameplay footage out there than you could possibly need.
Well it did solve the problem of "flying machine still flying" I suppose.
Watched Jeff from Giant Bomb mess around in it yesterday. The Arcade stuff looks pretty darn good and the main game is really pretty. There are apparently some changes to the progression that he wasn't too hot on though.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of them pretty much forcing you to try every weapon in the game to get "perk points". I'd rather just stick to what I like.
Where about is this video?
Unfortunately behind their Premium content, ergo you'd have to pay for it (or use a 7 day trial) but it was on yesterday's UPF https://www.giantbomb.com/videos/unprofessional-fridays-03232018/2300-12935/
Having played FC5 pretty extensively already, I have to say it feels really polished and the ambiance of the whole game is spot on.
Considering they very purposefully skipped one of the story missions, that "more to say next week" is almost definitely an embargo thing. Depending on when that ends, I'm sure we'll hear more from a lot of different places, including the Bombcast this Tuesday.
