Honestly it's elevated beyond meme status, yeah sure there are overplayed eurobeat like "Deja Vu" but there's some other genuinely good eurobeat songs.

well, people who know nothing of the genre, thinking it only consists of running in the 90s and deja vu, turned eurobeat into a stinking meme that has become stale. that's what i believe.
that doesn't mean the actual genre is bad. of course there's thousands of good eurobeat songs. my most favs currently are the most unpopular very first SEB and Eurobeat Flash albums.
also i very much recommend checking out the Eurobeat Flash 10th Anniversary. you'll thank me later.

Deja Vu is trash. I can't even listen to it anymore. I hate how people spam Initial D memes when they only listen to one song in a library of over 20 hours. Seriously, initial D has like 20 hours or more of eurobeat combined, including the arcade games. There are so many better songs than Deja Vu and Running in the 90's.

I mostly listen to it while working on things. the speed of it and the fact it barely ever stops is great for staying on a roll.

Also can I just pipe in for a minute that listening to eurobeat while driving is a really really fuckin bad idea unless you know the limits of your car really well and/or know how not to get a ticket? Legit the only times I have ever jumped a sudden decline or drifted a corner in a fwd is with eurobeat blaring. Like it's really hard not to try and drive like you're straight outta Initial D in that thing.

Forget Deja Vu and Running in the 90s. The only Eurobeat songs that you should like are the ones that kinda break out of the shitty "samey" style. The ones with kick ass choruses are the best and I can listen to them on repeat literally forever.
Overheard shit like Deja Vu and Running in the 90s is really too much. They are okay but completely overused.
My personal best ones based on the criteria of kickassing choruses that get your blood boiling:
Wheelpower and go (one of the fucking best with lyrics that sum up the entire series nicely)

Dance around the world (The fucking chorus man)

Forever Young (my personal favorite, with one of the best melodies in the entire genre, also famously used in the flashing lights scene)

I can listen to these forever. The choruses are just great. Some low-key ones that aren't that popular but fucking incredible that seem to have went over some people's heads for a long time. Give them a try.

I've been listening to Eurobeat since before I was driving, for a while it was all that I listened to. While i'm happy that it caught on with people I hate that it became such a shitty over used meme that gets shoe-horned into "compilation" videos with a pool of about 3-5 different songs.
That being said, some of my favorite Eurobeat songs would have to be:

The thing about Eurobeat is there's good songs at the surface and you can be happy listening to that, but even better songs as soon as you start to deviate from the initial hook songs.
