A Star Trek KFC commercial that's better than it has any right to be

The actor they got for Scotty is perfect. Like, clone of James Doohan perfect.
Love me some Star Trek advertisements.

"You must do that. I can't alter history, but you can alter the future."
Commander William T. Riker, immediately after altering history
The coleslaw comment killed me. Geez. Though it makes me sad knowing how bad KFC is. I had it the other day and it was just gross. I don't know why I keep trying to go there every so often. Feel like maybe one day it'll be good again.
The cornbread is pretty good, though. That's about it for me.
How old is this ad? The cast looks remarkably like the original crew in their prime apart from Sulu, who only looks vaguely like George Takei.
Temporal Prime Directive? Never heard of it.
Really? I just had some today and it was alright. Not the best I've had, but not the worst. Then again that was the first time I've eaten it in like 4 years.
Cornbread isn't hard to fuck up.
KFC is very cheap at least. That's one thing you can say about it, where I am anyways I can get 3 tenders, wedges, a cookie, biscuit, and drink for five dollars.
I have never had KFC as far as I know besides one double down like 8 years ago.
Popeye's > KFC
Could've been done in the early 80s or late 70s.
KFC is literally the worst fast food I've ever had. It's terrible and it baffles me it's still in business.
It's actually from 2006. They had the original actors (probably minus Scotty, because James Doohan died in '05) record voice lines and lookalikes with prostheses fitted to have them look even more like the cast lipsynced to the recordings.
It's not cheap here. It costs more than almost everywhere else (barring actually good restaurants) and it's fucking awful.
Well I don't know where you are. UK?
idk what it is but having been on multiple continents, something about middle eastern KFC is so fucking good. like idk if it's the quality of the meat or the intact original menu (zingers, sandwiches, fucking everything they used to have in the states) but the KFC quality in places like Beirut fucking wipes the floor with all other kfc food
It says Ireland right above my post. It's probably not cheap in the UK either.
From what I've seen the places that are dogshit in America are okay over here, while the places that are okay in America are just awful over here. McDonald's is pretty good here (for what it is) but when I was in America it was fucking awful. Granted that was ten years ago and it could have just been the one I went to, but most Americans seem to agree that McDonald's is bad.
Fun fact: the software Riker is selling is newer than what I use at work now.
Clearly, your work's management lacks vision.
UK here. Pretty sure it's just as expensive, though I can't remember the actual prices off the top of my head. Their website still says they have a chicken shortage in multiple stores
Gotta admit, I like to have a meal from McDonalds or Pizza Hut, but KFC definitely isn't as good. Domino's meanwhile I just can't stand for some reason.
My biggest guilty pleasure though is the four cheese pizza from Costco. God damn, I can feel my life expectancy drop by about a year per slice but it really does taste good. It was even better when they had Cheese and Tomato though imo, and probably not as unhealthy.
