The official name is "weary". The emojipedia article says it's also known as the "distraught face". Garry used it for "sympathy". I always associated it with "when u nut but she keep sucking".

I use the Discord version of the emoji a lot when I'm having a hard time. To me it denotes suffering, agony, pain, and so it. It would be the kind of face I'd use when afflicted by anguish.
