So let's start off with how the model looks like in blender: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/243435/1ac69882-9eb1-4f27-85d9-f5a7ec8e2330/ta.PNG After that when I compress everything with crowbar and all that stuff, I start the game. After loading, I press C and head over to the playermodel i made and this is what i got...: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/243435/d324a712-70fa-4217-b18c-0da41185ff1b/20180325191928_1.jpg My problem is not the textures but the model itself, you can clearly see that my model in blender does not look like that. So any help would be appreciated!!
The problem is that the half life (and in turn Gmod)'s animations have set positions and rotations for the bones, so small characters will become bigger and bigger characters will become smaller, it is impossible to make small characters in gmod, sorry... To make small characters in gmod you'll need to use a hacky workaround made by CaptainBigButt, it's the proportion trick, with some of source sequence QC commands you can subtract the skeleton of your small character to the one of the normal valve biped, a good tutorial can be found here: https://sites.google.com/site/zeqmacaw/tutorials/proportion-trick Lately many people have been experiencing problems for no apparent reason (me included), luckly a workaround to use the workaround has been found in this thread: Custom playermodel I'll preface with saying that if this is your first playermodel, it will be hard, so don't sweat it if there's an error, most people already went through any error with the proportion trick so the forums are the best way to complain about source.
Alright thank you, Ill try to follow these steps and try to do exactly what it says
