any decal textures show up like this. i had narrowed it down to it probably being a special effects addon i downloaded so i uninstalled that and its clearly done something to my gmod files somewhere. effects are also effected. mainly fire, it shows up flat rather than 3D.
im guessing theres a command i can type into the console to fix this? (i hope...)

On your Steam Library page
Right-click on Garry's Mod
Click "properties"
Click "local files"
Click "Verify integrity of game files"
Wait a bit, etc, this should download and fix missing/broken files. I don't know if this'll actually do anything but this is a start when it comes to debugging broken things in any Source Engine game.
