Isn't arranged marriage a thing in Texas among Christian communities as well? I remember a thread a few weeks ago about a law that would forbid it that was shot down.
Research into the Mormon religion, one of the largest branches of Christianity in the United States. You'll go down a rabbit hole for sure. From the fact that Joseph Smith practiced witchcraft and scrying all the way up through polygamy, ancient racism and forced marriage. Not even fucking over selling it here, they literally believe that Native Americans were cursed with darker skin by god because he was punishing them for their sins, and that they're somehow ancient hebrews that came to the Americas via boats.
Really weird and disgusting how there is so much resistance against something like this.
Just sad that arranged marriages is legal in most (all?) of the US, destroying the lives of so many children.

I read that article without even brushing racism, what those parents did to their OWN daughter because she denied their arranged marriage is abhorrent and despicable. There's an obvious pattern to what news Tudd does and doesn't post. There is a reason that people are saying this and you should be aware of it if you've been in this section for very long

Not all Muslims take part in arranged marriages, just like not all Mormons, but it is still news and unfourtanate what happened.
It's an incredibly obvious ploy you're trying to sway people who are less aware of what you're doing to convince them of your views. If you feed people certain information enough they will start to believe it, look at how Youtube algorithms work and the results we have to deal with of that. The contents of the article are factually correct, yes, but in the context of your other posts you're trying to construct a narrative for others so that they'll start believing the same things you do. The takeaway you're trying to give others with these isn't exactly subtle.
Cause Tudd these stories happen all the time with pretty much any religion. But you love to pick news about only Muslim families doing it.

Also I do think people who show immediate dismissal of the article/aren’t discussing it are in their own way, shrugging it off to, “oh Tudd again” and contributing nothing.

Cause Tudd you have a Tendency to change the Titles of these articles when you post them and also leave out portions of the article as if you think people wont read it. And sometimes you've removed material where it completely changes the perspective of the story.

The other accusations are just nebulous as hell. I already know people are going to critize me everytime I post an article for leaving out bits. If anything I try the opposite, and then someone focuses on the one minuscule thing I left out as if I did it on purpose still.
I think the obvious agenda isn't the real elephant in the room. We've had plenty of posters with agendas before. Imagine if someone spent a year incessantly hyping a movie with a shitty premise, terrible director, and bad actors, and when that movie came out and predictably sucked for all the reasons people said it would, they pretty much pretend it never happened and proceed to do little else but try and find every bad review of any movie you ever liked under the pretense of finding "interesting" opinions. That is why these threads get made and get derailed.
I mean I guess you just post on another forum elsewhere (reddit?) who tends to share these stories with a particular viewpoint amongst themselves and sometimes you crosspost them here sometimes. Often without thinking critically at all about them. I'm not sure why you would have posted that one ponyfucking thread without realizing that at least two of your sources were tabloids

Well, the shaming of him that many are partaking in isn't doing much so it needs to be taken a notch. In my humble opinion. It's a shame really, some people will see this story and immediately jump to the most racist conclusion that they can think of without looking at it in an objective frame of mind because it's concerning a person who wears a hijab.
