it didn't ruin his life tho
I honestly didn't know that the video was fake until now. Really shows how much of a good job he did pretending to be a total idiot.
I have ocean front property to sell you in Arizona :^)
Wait seriously? The first time I saw it I recognized it pretty obviously as one of those ironic memers doing anything for views, etc. Guess I can't imagine someone genuinely doing this no matter how socially inept they may be.
Hmm Clickbait titles check, "quality" youtube content check, unfunny memes (specially the IQ thing) check. Parts of the interview were alright I guess. Guess the funny part is people thinking he was actually serious.
hey man I have a bridge to sell you please email me at this webzone
2016 broke a lot of people's irony meters to be fair
How could you not tell? If literally did a naruto run out of mcdonalds lmao
To be fair, that seems precisely what someone freaking out about szechuan sauce would do.
You're the type of person who can't discern sarcasm or irony without the "/s" at the end of the post aren't you?
There are some who have seen real people do weirder, crazier shit than this guy did, and they did it in complete earnest. After that, its not hard to believe this guy was legit.
Are you sure it wasn't the naruto run at the end instead?
Does it though? I mean, I'm sure like barely anyone acted like that during the Szechuan Sauce event. Except for people who did it for ironies sake.
I always thought the video was embarrassing because the parody the dude was creating just wasn't that funny. I didn't know anyone considered the video to be genuine.
We severely underestimate what humans are truly capable of in an attempt to get what they want.
idk I think you'd have to go into this video kind of wanting to believe it's genuine in order to believe it, the naruto run is, contrary to popular belief, not something you can expect people to actually do in real life beyond primary school.
You could tell it was staged because the guy was recording the video horizontally
Did he fucking compare that dude to papa franku
Ultimately it doesn't matter if it was a parody of not. He's still the guy who went to a McDonalds and freaked the fuck out in an embarrassing display. "I was only pretending to be retarded" doesn't mean you didn't do the retarded thing, even if you were actually only pretending.
No, it was painfully obvious. Jumping up and down on the counter like a child, rolling around the ground reeing and then Naruto running out the door? Couldn't be more obvious unless he also shouted about wanting tendies because he had enough good boy points. There's such a thing as being so meme-y and extreme that satire becomes evident.
As I said, when you've seen worse than this that was entirely sincere, this is easily believable as real. They are a lot of absurd things and people out there. Like this kind of thing isn't that odd compared to some of that shit.
This YouTuber sounds like such a condescending and arrogant arsehole
At this point in the game it's just never ending poe's law for me because every time I think something's a joke it ends up being legit. I dont know what to expect anymore.
And I highly doubt your claim to have seen worse. Maybe the “real” people you’ve seen are also taking the piss? Rick and Morty was the butt of every joke for a couple months. Funnily enough I’ve never heard of Rick and Morty fans being obnoxious before it became a meme that they’re obnoxious and people circlejerked memes about how obnoxious they are until people started believing all the shit people made up as jokes due to the frequency and prevalence of it. Honestly, this whole “Rick and Morty fans are crazy” thing seriously just sort of came out of nowhere. Like suddenly one day Rick and Morty has a pretty normal fanbase and everyone’s fine and the next there are headlines about how weird they are and everybody in the world is making fun of them. It was so weird when it happened.
I bet you wouldn't be sounding so cheery if your Uncle Alex was unjustly persecuted by society.
