https://www.politico.com/story/2018/03/27/supreme-court-gerrymandering-487201 There are two gerrymandering cases currently before the Supreme Court: one about a GOP gerrymander in Wisconsin, and this one about a Democratic gerrymander in Maryland. They both use different legal theories so it's a two-pronged assault on gerrymandering.

If you think about it for a while, it's actually insane how little energy our politicians as a whole spends on helping their people compared to helping themselves.
The last SCOTUS case about gerrymandering basically was "not unconsitutional because there's no concrete way to measure it." The other case right now is whether to use a method called the "efficiency gap" to measure gerrymandering, don't know about this one.
watch they'll affirm gerrymandering in wisconsin but strike down maryland gerrymandering on some technical ground like "well they were overt and open about it"
