The trouble is if you redo the referendum how can you guarantee that voters aren't manipulated again? How do you prove that interference even caused anyone to vote a way that they otherwise wouldn't have? What amount of interference is normal, and what amount do we expect people to overcome through doing their own research/fact checking?

If both sides lied and leave only won because their lies were more convincing maybe the whole referendum really should be thrown out.
The whole thing was ran totally wrong, the government shouldn't have split up or campaigned over this. They should have released 2 small manifestos showing: what will happen if we stay in (reformation or something, which was the original plan of staying in) and another on how we would leave the EU and what we would get out of it.

If the Remainers lied or committed fraud they, too, should be penalized. Doesn't change the fact that the referendum was a load of bollocks and should have been thrown out instead of taken as the will of the people.
