I mean, he hasn't done anything too terribly idiotic recently, I think? Guess this makes sense, although lower will always be better.
Still baffles me that people still think this loon's doing a good job.
The fact that the tax law results in less taxes for 80% of people but only about 43% actually notice the savings shows that Pelosi's much maligned "just crumbs" commentary wasn't far off the mark.
AT LEAST HES BETTER THAN OBAMA !!1!1 is what I'm hearing from people.
Actually his approval ratings have been a little bit up for a while now, 538 had them averaging at 41.1% two days ago, but he's lost a whole percentage point since then.
Well he does have a pretty consistent stream of ridiculous tweets https://mobile.twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/976765417908776963
This literally sounds like a middle school bully, How pathetic.
News outlets should really stop reporting on individual polls, it's easy to cherry pick from them and different pollsters use different methodologies and have different biases in their results. If you want a more accurate representation, use an aggregator like 538 who takes these things into account.
Trade tariffs? Stormy Daniels? "I like the idea of taking them before due process"? Don't underestimate the amount of stupid he can do in a month, even if it's just new stupidity for old gags.
He does so many stupid things that it's easy to forget what he's done.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/politics/wp/2018/03/28/most-americans-havent-seen-pay-increases-from-tax-cuts-but-most-republicans-have/ The article points out that it's unclear what creates the partisan divide in perception, but one aspect may be that Republicans are more likely to have considerable investments in the stock market. So, basically, Fatcat Capitalism is fine with holding its nose and overlooking quite a lot as long as the numbers look good.
At this rate, Trump could strangle a puppy on national tv without losing more than 5 percentage points in popularity.
