Animated Deadpool FX series cancelled, Donald Glover tweets script

Donald Glover tweeted today that he was not “too busy to work on Deadpool,” despite some press speculation that his busy career might have contributed to FX’s decision to abandon the project.

The tweets follow FX’s still-fresh announcement that Glover, his brother Stephen, the network and Marvel Television have parted ways and would not proceed with the animated series. FX made the surprise announcement on Saturday, noting that “Due to creative differences, FX, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover and Marvel Television have agreed to part ways on Marvel’s Deadpool animated series. FX will no longer be involved with the project.”

Scripts are not meant to be read, they're meant to be performed. You don't get as much detail in a script as you do a full-fledged book, and a script alone is missing all kinds of visual and audio cues.
