Always knew this would be a critical point of investigation, but it's fantastic to see it confirmed. Trump's campaign demanded last second policy change on a key measure relating to Russia/Ukraine foreign policy. Lots of speculation about why and how that came to be, and why Trump refused to allow the platform not to include that key alteration.
I'm still finding it hilarious how the republicans involved in their end-of-democracy scheme eventually got stuck with some washed-up reality tv dipshit tying the whole thing together
Actually, now that I'm typing this out, part of me's wondering if this still all would've happened if they landed a different republican in the white house, but better kept under wraps than it is currently. They were pushing who, ted cruz? paul ryan? Like, who was meant for that presidential seat before trump gained popularity, and how much did they know about the whole deal?
I mean, not to get all conspiracy-theory here, I'm just tossin stuff up; Trump does have a lot of russian-based businesses and connections, but I doubt the RNC would follow someone like him if he was the first one of the party going around saying Let's Commit Treason!
