People want their Deadpool, I guess. He's kind of a unique character. "Superhero" but also "a real piece of shit and uber-cocky," which is a refreshing change of pace from the norm of Lawful Good that most heroes seem to be. Might be similar to why Iron Man was such a hit, tbh.

It's an animation test. The goal was to show investors/corporate dicks what the show would look like in motion so they probably grabbed audio from the movie to save time/money on hiring a voice actor for a show that may or may not get the greenlight..
