I mean not just with the waggle sticks, stuff where I could kick back, put on the headset and play with the controller or m+kb? I liked HL2 vr thing that is there, I tried out Duke3D and Quake 2 with the classic controls. Maybe the most fun I had in VR were the Serious Sam games. But yea, any suggestions?
Do you like racing games?
There's a finished VR version for HL2 ? Anyway, I mostly play roomscale stuff so I can't really recommend much in terms of games where you just sit down and play with mkb or a regular controller. As far as roomscale stuff goes you'll find plenty that's worth it especially if you're willing to expand your horizon a little. Gorn, H3VR, Job Simulator, The Gallery, Duck Season, Arkham VR, Thumper, Vanishing Realms are all examples of good VR games. Then there's even more if you're willing to bother with Revive, such as Lone Echo.
Somewhat.Always liked the ones where crashing the cars was a mechanic. I was talking about whatever VR there is in HL2 now, leftover from the Oculus days.
Arizona Sunshine (Haven't played it, but comes highly recommended. Zombie shooting game) Brookhaven Experiment (Zombie shooting game) GORN (Fighting simulator) Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades (Realistic gun simulator thing? I don't really like it but a lot of people do) Job Simulator Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes (Really good co-op game that can be played by other people along with you, using their mobiles or a laptop) Space Pirate Trainer (Shooting game, quite hectic and frantic at times) Star Trek: Bridge Crew (Co-op game, really fun if you like Star Trek) SUPERHOT VR (Highly recommended, shooting / action game where time speeds up in relation to your body movements) VRChat (Yiff)
h3vr is probably the best vive game out there right now imo. gorn and job simulator are really good but they are mostly games that you watch other people try to play because they have no idea what they are doing most vr games right now are gimmicks. there's a lot of zombie shooters. h3vr has the most bang for the buck
He's asking for games that aren't roomscale Try Overload or Elite: Dangerous if you want a good sitdown experience, OP. Dirt: Rally is pretty great as well if you can get it playing nice.
Be like @haloguy234 and have a smug anime girl spit in your face. Virtual Reality General V4 (Also, we need a better way to share direct links to posts...)
I approve.
Subnautica is pretty near if you enjoy giving yourself anxiety
Gorn Serious Sam VR H3VR Those three (especially Gorn) are the big killer apps. Yeah Serious Sam is a bit cheating because cmon you can get the nonvr version for cheap now and it sucks that it's a separate game and not a free addon but running around Egypt is kindof amazing. And for those who don't have VR and have to watch videos: The one thing you are not getting in a video is the depth. Like a 3d movie, except much more pronounced. Its to the effect of a magic eye picture but thankfully nowhere as eye straining. Edit: Oh, if you're looking for more shooters to play in VR, try out the Doom 3 Fully Posessed mod for Doom3 BFG edition. Its a bit buggy and I wouldent buy the game at full price for the mod but it is a pretty alright experiance
Google Earth vr Aircar through oculus store + revive if you want a fun little 15 minute cyberpunk flying experience Both of these are free
people haven't mentioned it but the best vr game content wise is definitely Payday VR. I haven't played payday before but it's acually a lot of fun and a really good addition to a game that already has a ton of content. It's no pavlov with it's vr integration, but nonetheless is a really fun game with vr.
