http://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-43580650 After listening to the song, the judge said DMX was a "good man" and gave him one year in prison.

I suggest we all record songs about our terrible upbringings ASAP. This literally sets a precedent.
I assume playing Get it on the Floor would've got him 40-to-life.
It does occur to me that the judge could have just sentenced him to 1 year regardless, people rarely get huge sentences for tax evasion even when the penalties are actually pretty high.
guess he gave it to em
Yeah, sounds like X wasn't givin' it to 'em
I'm comin in the house and I'm gunnin' for your spouse Tryin' to send the bitch back to her maker And if you got a daughter older then 15, I'ma rape her Take her on the living room floor, right there in front of you Then ask you seriously, what you wanna do? Frustratin', isn't it? When they kill me, but I'ma kill you Now watch me fuck just a lil' while longer, please, will you? - DMX - "X-Is Coming"
It only works if you're a Ruff Ryder.
I've only seen this joke about a hundred times from various websites now. 's gettin' old.

DMX is a shit person, bad upbringing or not.
I can only imagine the entire courtroom applauded after the song finished.
I genuinely came up with it on my own
Like a bad upbringing has anything to do with tax evasion, smh judge shouldve raised it to 10 years.
