I've run into multiple cases since the forum switch where someone's post has been knowledgeable and interesting, but not exactly worth rating "Cookie" because I feel like that implies something like "nice, dude, gold star" rather than "this has helped me understand the subject better" (in which case I could also use Useful, but we don't have that either. I'm not making a case for it, because generally I think Good Idea can take its place pretty well). So, I'd like to request this now. Even with custom forum rating settings on the horizon, I do feel like it's useful enough to be worth throwing into the set of default ratings. Since the majority of icons here are now just Windows emojis, I took a quick look at those and found a Blue Book emoji, which carries over the old colors for consistency's sake but also fits into the emoji icons (being one to begin with) and probably expresses "knowledge" to the common user better than the old one did anyway, since it's a straight-up book. Here's the emoji in the resolution that the other ratings are in:

Not a clue how much of a pain in the ass ratings might be to add or change in their current state, but I think this would be beneficial to have, because right now there's a gap in the ratings that feels uncovered to me.
Why not the icon it was before?

My Facepunch browsing experience isn't complete without @Marphy Black 's Informative and Zing ratings so I do agree with this suggestion
Oh shit there's also just a straight-up blue "i for information" emoji I didn't even know existed, apparently. I just immediately shot to "I'll check out the book emojis" instinctively.
That said, I don't really care what icon it is as long as the rating itself exists. It could be a fuckin' banana and I wouldn't mind.
Yeah, the blue book that OP suggested looks too similar to "bad reading", but that old icon was very self-explanatory and unmistakable.
Just merge the old ones and keep some of the new ones

Why not use the brain emoji? That way you get two meanings, double value ratings.
Good Idea is bit hit and miss when it comes rating informative stuff, for example imagine rating post like "If you drink gas you will die" good idea, grim.
Maybe a good alternative to adding in a whole bunch of new ratings is to just take away the names of the ratings we already have. So instead of "Good idea," it's just a light bulb which can mean different things depending on the situation.
That way, we don't have to keep re-inventing the wheel.
I mostly used it sarcastically for bizarre or gross posts but it was perfect for that.
Then you lose stuff like the double-meaning of Sympathy and instead of being used as sympathy it only becomes "nut face" while everyone uses Love.
I always go to rate someone informative or useful and then realize its sadly no longer there. Usually there aren't any other ratings I feel fit those posts either. "Good idea" isn't as flexible as informative was.
I personally would prefer the old "i" bubble.

Looks like it's here, along with rebranded Winner and Dumb ratings.
Not sure about the new dumb rating icon, it doesn't have the same feel to it as the old one
The dumb rating icon looks really off, and the informative rating is a bit too big compared to the other ratings (or it might be just my eyes)
