This was my parent's car back in the 90s, and from what I remember it was the best car ever. 1991 Civic hatchback. When I was growing up I wanted this car, unfortunately they had to get rid of it, but it's my favorite car ever. I wish I could have drove it once.

The Integra was my first car but I don't really know where I want to go with it. I did Bilstiens with OEM Type-R springs, swaybars and control arms and all your usual handling upgrades, bolt ons and maintenance. It also has a JDM GSR trans and a ACT 6 puck sprung clutch. I was planning on a turbo build but never set aside anywhere near enough money to do it the way I wanted Instead I bought the Civic for my girlfriend to learn to drive and to do a really low buck budget build instead. I've lost most of my motivation with it and my girlfriend put a hole in the front bumper(waiting on paint still) after the Civic broke a timing belt despite only being 30k miles since I had done it. I was thinking a JDM H23 vtec or F20B with a plateless kit but then again I can make similar power and keep all my accessories with a high comp B20V build with just some pistons for probably less overall. Who knows, maybe it'll shit a rod and I'll be forced to do something interesting power wise.
The Civic is pretty fun, banging the 8k limiter with like 100whp pulling on heavy cars with 200hp+ while still making 35-40mpg in a 2080lbs car I bought for $450 is always a treat. I was really afraid I made the wrong choice spending way way too much on a JDM D15B vtec and a LSD trans with ZC and Si gears over a B series setup after my timing belt broke on my previously MPFI swapped D15B2. It's just so much fun to beat the living crap out of it and the single cam just loves the revs. It doesn't burn a drop of oil and I spin it upto 800rpm over the stock redline almost every time I drive it. It's kind of a love/hate car though, sometimes I just hate being inside of it. The softest solid mounts anyone makes that I put in it made it uncomfortably rattly and loud since the literal trash OEM replacement parts store mounts allowed the drivetrain to shift enough for the trans to hit the frame rail. The axles would pop in and out while destroying the CV joints if I turned left and accelerated. It's somehow turned into a car that I have a list of things I have replaced which I can't even keep track of anymore and a much shorter, manageable list of things which are still original and could be replaced.

From when my Honda was new and clean. My garage is at the back of the garden and backs onto a dirt path always full of holes and puddles you cannot avoid. Add in the wonderful rainy British weather and that leaves me with a bike I can never keep clean unless I wash it after every day it rains.
