I'm still upset with them for ruining my holiday. Why go through all the effort to get the family dressed up, only to find out it wasn't happening that year?
Hey brother this was probably the wrong spot, this is certainly not a volvo

we use to have a 96 970 wagon some color too except unlike yours everything was wrong with it when we sold it last year
So I want your guy's input on this story a guy at work told me about why he'll never own a volvo again: Had car. 2001 P2 chassis, no more specifics on it than that. Car was great in his opinion until about 3 years ago going down the highway or something similar the oil light came on. Checked oil: Was bone dry. Filled it back up. Oil light was back on by the time he got home. Dipstick was "fine" but supposedly oil was still leaking like a siv. Shop claims "Headgasket!" Dealership wants 7k and shop can't do it due to supposed "dealership only tool" required to replace the HG. I've never ever ever heard of this magic dealership only tool to replace the HG. Also, if the crank case was really fine but the car was still leaking a lot of oil and the oil light was shitting itself, it sounds like either a cam seal, the rear main, or similar went kablewy. AND, on top of this, since the car was like 15 years old at this point I think what happened was the PCV plugged a long time ago, he never knew it was borked, pressure built up until "POP" and a gasket blew. Anyone else?
Did someone say Ovlov bread? My 1998 S70 T5, bought it with 106k and sitting at 116k. Runs 17lb peak boost https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/111830/4862ea90-39b7-4a9a-9bc1-1246ec21b168/IMG_20180327_155637.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/111830/2b387346-af05-4853-ad96-bc8d6f0686f9/IMG_20180223_152027.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/111830/b25c6506-e44c-4add-85ec-79dc084b1e8e/IMG_20180111_151405.jpg (fig. 3) ovlov in its natural habitat. This pic was before I fixed the power antenna. My shitty rusted out exhaust tip is getting replaced soon(tm) with an OEM one I got that's in great shape. I've also got a clean, unmolested grille off that junk S70 to put on.
