Does it matter what floor you place the tool cupboard

Question is the title. I've put mine on the second floor and not sure if its the same as if was on the 1st floor/ground floor.

All structures connected to the floor where you placed the cupboard are protected, protection spehere is determined based on the structure and not on the cupboard.
