Basically the 8 people stored on this list are barred from playing any server running a fairly unmodified version of JetBoom's zombie survival, they take 10x normal damage making it virtually impossible to play the gamemode.
Considering most server owners aren't going to think twice stumbling over this line, JetBoom's intention was to ban specific players from the entire gamemode almost entirely without their knowledge and any server owners knowledge. Regardless of how you feel about JetBoom or NoxiousNet or whatever, giving yourself the ability to shadow ban players from your entire gamemode, regardless of what server they're playing on, is pretty childish. And considering I got on this list for insulting staff once and never bothering his community ever again, These more than likely aren't just malicious players that are purposefully and/or personally damaging his server or gamemode.
While it's not like this list is regularly updated via workshop, and it can just be removed from the gamemode if you stumble across it (but keep in mind if JetBoom ever wants to update this list and you're running the workshop version, it'll be added right back, not like it really has been updated). JetBoom relies on the fact that people won't take the time to dig through his gamemode to find this, nor will most people even realize that they're on this list, because there's absolutely no tell besides dying instantly and a completely inconspicuous chat message that could be literally any regular server message. And any level-headed server owner with limited lua knowledge will politely tell you to fuck off if you ask them to remove bits of code from an absolutely massive gamemode.
ZS is a great gamemode, it has a couple flaws here and there but overall it's a solid gamemode that's had 11 years of polishing. But Noxious Net/JetBoom are absolutely toxic.
TL;DR, JetBoom bans people from his entire gamemode for no good reason and they don't even know it, imagine if this happened in <insert any other popular gamemode>.
im part of it because i didnt feed him with copypasta, so he called me a "gay ass nigger", raged, and added me to the list
JetBoom is still around? Holy shit.
Also, with the use of UniqueID, more than those 8 players will be affected, since UniqueID isn't a unique id.
I wouldn't be surprised if this code has been in there for quite a while.
Was this thread meant to be re-opened?
If so, the point of this thread wasn't to start drama over 2-3 year old code. I felt like this was something that evaded most of the community in ZS' history and people should at least know about it. Edited to seem less witchhunt-y

Guess they really don't want people knowing about it
(Also please don't go to the nox forums to spam or whatever, this code has been in the gamemode for years.)
probably going to end up on the salt list too cause i posted it on the workshop page oof
