The way Stress Level Zero does weapons is cool looking but can actually feel very off. The way your hands magnet to the guns makes it easier to understand the position of your real controllers in relation to the model but it also makes it too snappy and odd to control since there's far less tolerance for your hands moving around.
On top of this the use of real hand models instead of an invisible grip means the actual list of stuff you can do with any given gun is very limited. I can't imagine stuff like pulling the bolt on the MP5 be any easier when your hand kind of glues onto the stock right underneath it.
'The best VR Guns ever made' so far reside entirely in Hotdogs, Horseshoes, and Handgrenades; sorry SLZ.
The 'lets do it all with physics' approach looks great but the recoil is not fantastic.
Also like Firgof said, H3 is the dream 'engine' for FPS games right now for sure.
Then you have H3VR's update video for today.

Yeah, just by dint of how that [sp]giant 1911[/sp] handles? They're not near this level yet.
That Gravity Gun section just pisses me off that HL2 VR isn't a thing
oh man, when they went into slo-mo I just visualised a new F.E.A.R. game in VR
now i just want artillery in H3VR
Having the original F.E.A.R. in VR with that AI would be amazing.
That gravity gun looks like blueflytrap's model
Gravity Gun remodel for Hl2, Garrysmod, and Sfm
It's a thing that's being worked on, but the devs have been pretty quiet regarding progress on it. There was some news ten days ago that it will support a haptic feedback vest, so I guess that's something. https://www.vrfocus.com/2018/03/hardlight-vr-annouces-partnership-with-vertigo-games-and-source-team/
There's also a subreddit for it, but it's mostly people asking for progress, answered by a resounding silence.
