The Lr300 has had a skin for a long time now and I think it would be nice to give the m2's and m9's skins. Just an idea, the rust devs should let people start working on that in the workshop.
idk why they need skins because they cant even be repaired so when they are gone forever but if people want skins for them really badly i guess i wouldn't mind

Add to that I'd like to see nail gun skins.
I know they want to introduce bow skins, but they want to make a better bow model before doing that.

I've asked this before and we skinners aren't responsible for there not being a skin, the issue is that we do not get the files in rustsdk e.t.c.
In other words: It isn't skinnable.
Yea I know that's why Facepunch should add it to be worked on. It would be easy for them to add that skin to be worked on.
I don't think that M249, LR-300 & M92 shouldn't have skins.
I mean, we can't craft them so why should we have skins for em? Sure I guess we can have em already skinned when its in it's supply drop. But we can't choose the skin cause we didn't craft it! It's uncraftable weapon! And I don't think we should have M249s craftable because they can be f***ing over-powered!
We have Lr skins but we cant craft the Lr. So why exclude the m2's and m9's?
Well, I don't even think we should have skins for the LR-300 because we can't even fucking craft it so... why make skins for em?
I mean why not some people want it and would buy it. Especially when you can get m2's easy if you have a good clan. After all if you don't want the skin you don't need to get it. It wouldnt affect you.
Ok so if you obtain one because you have a good clan, it doesnt mean you get to select the skin because you didn't craft it. Honestly if we were to add skins for the M249 it would be a random skin everytime it dropped.
What? Do you play rust. Items dont spawn with skins they are either crafted but usually skinned through a repair bench. Whenever an item (spawned by the game and untouched by a player) it drops unskinned. You have to buy skins and apply them.
Ever heard of workbench?
