Concept cars that you actually like quite a lot. Those that aren't insane and unrealistic. Here's two that I really like: http://cdn.newsapi.com.au/image/v1/c80fb87b8b87458aca0ad440cc70a1ff That is a Honda Sports EV https://autoworld.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/volvo-versatility-concept-car-img_3.jpg And this is Volvo Versatility or V100 that will never happen.

A mid-engined sportscar concept that originally had a rotary engine that produced 400HP. Later, they changed the motor to a turbocharged 5-cylinder diesel for fuel consumption tests (where it reached over 200MPH while running on the Nardo test track for 12 hours), they then made a final version that used a twin-turbo V8 making 500HP and set an average speed record of 250MPH at the same track. They later adapted the concept into the C112: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/ed/Mercedes-Benz_C112_1991_frontleft_2010-04-08_A.jpg/1280px-Mercedes-Benz_C112_1991_frontleft_2010-04-08_A.jpg Which was powered by a twin-turbo V12 (also mid-mounted) but despite taking 700 deposits for the C112, neither car ever made it to production. Also, one of my favourite concept cars of all time, the FT-1: https://preview2.netcarshow.com/Toyota-FT-1_Concept-2014-ig.jpg This car is actually making it to production as the new Generation V Toyota Supra which is supposed to come out in the next couple years.

Toyota 222D, basically an AWD Group S Rally MR2. 3 of 11 rumored original prototypes exist. https://puu.sh/zV8xB/97662a3d00.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/111830/0da1f252-0d47-472c-8599-c6e078704676/image.png
The Toyota GR HV,we need more hybrid sports cars and I think this would be the perfect one. https://www.netcarshow.com/Toyota-GR_HV_Sports_Concept-2017-800-01.jpg https://www.netcarshow.com/Toyota-GR_HV_Sports_Concept-2017-800-03.jpg https://www.netcarshow.com/Toyota-GR_HV_Sports_Concept-2017-800-04.jpg
Can't have a concept cars thread without the GT90 https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/107253/90e9f351-ed55-43d4-9b92-06d697da9c95/image.png
My god that is so sexy. I got a violent boner for that
https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/111492/f79ac581-fcfa-4cca-8f92-5f0f657ef11c/image.png It's so stupid but fuck if it doesn't look slick
I thought the GT90 was the coolest shit when I was a kid, I had model cars of it and I unlocked it in GT2 by nolife-ing the Seattle 100mi race til I won it Of course I didn't know shit and couldn't drive it let alone tune it
2011 Dodge EV https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/222894/c8093b97-a4aa-492a-836e-e0e9f3a3c3a4/image.png 268HP and 480ft*lb of torque with about 200 miles of range.
That...... looks sexy.
Y'all ever play TDU? FOUR TURBOS https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/232351/7c8977b9-30e8-4662-8c2b-0bf61247acb2/image.png
The mostly forgotten 1988 Peugeot Oxia. Something very few know about, even fewer remember, and probably 2 - 3 dudes who think it was rad. https://icdn-6.motor1.com/images/mgl/oQgx0/s1/1988-peugeot-oxia-concept.jpg
Always gives me nostalgia for Need For Speed II
Remember that one time they made the fastest car in the game out of a concept car that didn't even exist? #ElNino4Lyf https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/nfs/images/e/ef/Elninoloading.png/revision/latest?cb=20120213124534&path-prefix=en

That's gotta be fucking annoying when you're rolling through McDonald's.
I like how they basically used the lights from the 405. Maybe they're the exact same but it's hard to tell. They do look identical but they might be very subtly different
I mean, everything about this car was actually phenomenal - especially considering that this thing was built in the late eighties. https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--bJAD1cOx--/c_scale,fl_progressive,q_80,w_800/194x6szv46j79jpg.jpg Here's a fantastic article about it. A brief excerpt: Verified 217 mph top speed 670 horsepower at 8,200 RPM 535 ft-lb (720nm) of torque at 4,500 RPM Mid-mounted transverse PRV V6 with two Garrett turbos All-wheel drive and four-wheel steering Weight of 3,029 lbs (1,374kg) Two were built at a cost of 8 million Francs. It was named after a region on Mars, specifically the 'Oxia Palus' This thing was balls to the wall crazy at a time when Peugeot was pretty much murderating Group B. I miss that Peugeot, I hope it comes back instead of making little city runabouts powered by asthmatic old men with straws.
Jeep Hurricane: because who cares about fuel consumption? https://wallscover.com/images/jeep-hurricane-1.jpg http://www.topcarrating.com/jeep/2005-jeep-hurricane-concept-6.jpg http://www.wjjeeps.com/concept/jeep_hurricane_006.jpg It's got two 5.7-liter, 8-cylinder hemi's

What I don’t get is that Maybach is the ultra-luxury brand of Mercedes-Benz, the latter of which is already an upmarket brand, and so you would think that the concept would demonstrate a standard of luxury equivalent to a Rolls-Royce? Right? But they gave it absurdly large wheels with ultra-low profile tyres, fucking why
It isn't a production car, so practicality isn't important. It's a concept. And it looks pretty amazing. Looks just like a modern take on a 30's mobster boss's car.
I don't think I've ever seen a modern concept car with normal tires. They're almost invariable fuckhuge rims where the tire wall is measured in microns.
it's a shame about the interior, it's white + blue, techy (and tacky). you'd expect dark tones and lots of wood, or at least some polymer with a sciency name that mimics wood, if you really have to push the future angle. and what do you think: would whitewall tires complete the look, or take it too far?
https://toptenbestcars.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/2019-Nissan-IDX-Sports-Car-Concept.jpg Nissan IDX aka new Datsun 510. I doubt it'll ever actually come to fruition though.
i really like that shape. the side of the C pillars is fairly unique and cool looking, and i have a soft spot for cars that successfully modernize the blocky look. front end is a bit boring though, and there's something about it - the road version in particular - that's less "machine", and more "modern furniture"
