• Black spots in the model

When I thought I was done with this model, I get these black colors in them... https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247451/7a497725-b56a-4983-b223-e4d833e2d52c/Inked20180402230139_1_LI.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247451/71cf7d50-3544-412f-adc2-937815f06255/Inked20180402230147_1_LI.jpg What are these spots and how do you fix them? Thanks!
The model really is looking good, the black spots are probably just normals that aren't flipped in the right direction, this means that it's threating the face as if it's backwards, so the light doesn''t reflect as well, if at all. To fix this problem you can go in blender and in edit mode select all of the mesh with A and press CTRL+N to recalculate normals, usually this would be enough, but if this messes all other normals instead of recalculating the normals just flip them yourself by going over the faces and pressing CTRL+N, on the lower left you'll have the option to flip them. To actually see where the normals are facing you can go (while in edit mode) you can select the little face icon in mesh display on the options (don't know how it's called, but you press N to show/hide it), if the little line is outside then it's ok, if it's not you'll need to flip it. Even if this doesn't go over face normals, it's a good video to see to understand how normals work, and it's also very well done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMgjVJogIbc
Looks like just an issue with skinning. Try editing the weights of those verts so they stay underneat the legs. (pose the model to test skinning, but make sure to have a backup skeleton to reset the pose just in case!)
I tried grodberts Ctrl+N method, it kinda worked but this happened https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247451/b80a6fd1-c2f2-4a0b-8c34-b154f8c7454c/20180403120710_1.jpg ill try yours stiffy
That's probably the normals for those part that got inverted when you pressed CTRL+N, you could co and correct those individually, seeing that normals was the problem for the first part.
I try to go and flip the model but there is no option to flip it in the lower left part of blender! https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247451/188d4165-1ebc-481e-8b01-a0221bb43557/left.PNG Im sorry, i am a newbie and new to all this.
When the object is selected, press TAB to go to Edit Mode, then press A if it is not selected, press W, Flip Normals, done, export. You only need to flip normals on certain parts of the mesh, you can usualy see which ones they are
DON'T just flip the normals, you have to check which ones are actually in the wrong way, else you will correct the bad ones, but flip all the normal ones, you have to check which ones are flipped, you can do this with how I said in my first comment.
Well, simply recalculating the normals does not always get the job done, in fact it always fucks the model up even more for me. And I already said to just flip the normals that are bad, which can be identified easily most of the time
I'm back and I have done exactly what you told me to do. And these are my results: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247451/2f568cc5-526e-4966-aabb-8d58af654131/20180404004330_1.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247451/4d269aad-d20b-4241-8ba9-25ce801a5d6b/ppart.PNG I have flipped the parts and they worked, but this one part doesnt seem to go away. The whole area of the part of that body was like that until i flipped it, but it seems that tiny part wont go away. This is my only problem right now!
And when i flipped that part of the model, everything went dark while that part was still seperate from the part https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/247451/7c0b1392-ebd7-49a6-a4ad-0bec88ff47e6/flip.PNG
Well, seems like you flipped everything, flip/invert only the part that need it. Also, you don't need to separate the faces from the model to move them (as I can tell you did from the picture)
