Just and adorable cat video for anyone having a bad day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zznc3HxxO_s
Dude there's bugs crawling on your bed
No shit that's why i sleep in the car. This whole towns infested.
I had a similar problem a while back, but I managed to fix it by putting a bunch of spiders in my room.
Okay you need to go more in depth about this.
I mean if you want me to take a video of me burning the little fuckers I can. It only takes like 5 swipes of the lighter to kill the little fucks. Back story of all of this is pretty much Johnstown pa is extremely infested with bedbugs. No matter how clean or dirty your house is the fuckers can still infest your shit like no tomorrow. If you want more Back story on why my girl and i are in this living situation we are in I got that for ya too.
is this going to be one of those threads where the video is really innocent but has one detail in it that's a bit weird, and then the OP goes into detail and it turns out its horrifying and then it gets posted in lmao pics with people reacting to it
I feel special for being here for the real thing already.
THE GRIME
Hmmm Well the cat won't go Hungry.
does your cat sleep in the car too?
You can't see it but the cat's riddled with botflies. The bugs are coming from him.
dude you need to call an exterminator what the fuck
please give us the complete story and extended universe
Please don't let this turn into another "Bucket of soapy water to clean my ass"
I actually think there might be some bugs on it all things considered, so they're probably getting in the car too if it sleeps there
Don't listen to this man I've already contracted BBC for a 12 part documentary OP, don't let me down.
If you can't afford to get rid of a bug infestation that bad you need to give your cat away or re-home it or something, because I can almost guarantee it has worms and other forms of nasty diseases
He's right about the bedbug problem in Johnstown. I went to college there, had to leave my dorm three times in one semester just for extermination, and managed to carry the bloodsucking chucklefucks back with me anyway. It's a constant problem there, and it caused me an immense amount of mental strife. They're all over the goddamn place and they're impossible to completely kill. At least the cat is adorable. :c
Thank you. But anyways, My girlfriend and I had been living in Pittsburgh on Neville island, which fun fact used to have very fertile farmland on it but now is just another industrial wasteland that you can actually live on. Our landlord had been failing to send us the water bill then we had a notice to pay the water bill or they would start the eviction process. The water bill had gotten to $500. We payed it and then she did it again, this time we didn't have the money to pay it. The eviction went to court. They felt we owed rent and the water bill all the way up until November 30th. At this point it was only mid October so i found it profoundly ignorant of them since we were to be out before the end of October anyways. The total they were fighting for was $2000+. I felt we owed only around $1000. The judge agreed. but we still didn't have that kind of money at that point. So we grabbed my old boss's truck and trailer Unloaded his bread at the bread depot. We packed all of our shit up in the trailer. Found a place to stay for 2 night for 100 bucks. Had all of shit packet into these peoples front room. Went and broke down the bread order for the pepperidge farm vendors in the area. loaded his bread order onto his trailer, and returned the trailer at 4 am just in time right before my old boss woke up for me to run the bread route with him. Got the trailer again after 2 days because our financial resources were dwindling. Repacked the trailer in pouring down rain. Drove it all the way to johnstown to my girlfriends stepdad's house in johnstown. Repeating the same as the first night with the trailer we had to deal with the bread shit again and i had to run the route with him again except this time i had driven back and forth to dumb ass johnstown. Now we live in a broken down ass house in broken down johnstown on a broken down street. There aren't many jobs here and my girlfriend and i pretty much depend on my jobs income. She was doing lyft but we've been having problems with the vehicle so she hasn't been able to do it the past few months. We've been struggling to just keep on top of the car payments insurance payments and keeping the car running with just my income. If it weren't for the vehicle we wouldn't have any income at all. Work is an hour away all the way in Murrysville, and this has been a very dangerous winter driving back and forth between here and there. On our way back to johnstown on April fools Easter we had to go to the depot and break down the bread after we had visited my parents for Easter dinner. On our way out my old boss asked if I could take his trailer and load up his bread for him since i owed him some cash for a little bit of grass and i already had to go and break down the stacks of bread there anyways. I'm like sure fine. We get the bread broken down and his trailer loaded up and the truck back to his driveway around 11 pm. It's still kind of warm out, probably about 50-55'F. It had been 60'F for most of the day so you know. I was expecting a nice safe drive home. We get onto route 22 and it starts pouring down rain. Cool nothing to worry about just a little bit harder to see. 30 minutes into the drive it's blizzard like conditions out, you can see about 6-8 feet in front of the car, Extremely low visibility. I lower my speed accordingly . Speed limits around 55. i'm doing 40-45. The snows not sticking so i figured we'd make it back with no issue. We've drove through worse in the car and we had the new front tires to boot. We get about 2-4 blocks distance from our exit and in 5 seconds the whole road is completely cover in about a half an inch of snow. I was completely unprepared for that almost instant change in road conditions. The car starts pulling to the right. I let of the accelerator. I turn off traction control. I try turning into it, I try turning away from the direction i was sliding. Nothing was working. We were heading straight for the guard rail. Last ditch effort. I try to lightly tap the brakes. not even push them. Micrometers. The back end fishtails out, and my 2006 buick lucerne is definitely hitting this guard rail. I did my best to keep the car spinning as it hit the guardrail head on. Miraculously preventing us from ramping off of the guardrail, down a steep 15 foot embankment, and into some trees. Somehow we aren't dead but we are facing the wrong way. I pull the car around and off to the side of the road and inspect how badly damaged the car is. End part ! Sorry I gotta go to work supposed to be bad weather again later tonight so I'm trying to get there get it done and get back as soon as possible. I'm not trying to wreck this rental. disclaimer: events in this story are true, the people are real. This is not based on a true story this is me reliving the other night just so my wonderful folks here at Facepunch can have a wonderful story to read. Ps. Yes this incident was somewhat traumatizing.
If what the posters are saying is true, even if they called an exterminator they're just going to come back anyway. And even then, an exterminator is expensive I'd imagine, not many have the income to shell out tons of money for a problem that's just going to come back anyway.
This is depressing
i'll eat those bugs for you OP
your cat is very cute OP - if your situation gets worse, and you feel out of options then you should post a thread here again and i'm sure people would be willing to chip in to help out (myself included) fp helped out the dude who was trapped in venezuela (i think??) and i'm sure would again
Same here. I'd gladly make a sizable donation if one is started. At the very least to get your girlfriend's car fixed so she can begin Lyfting again so you have additional income and can possible save to get out of that shithole.
I'm glad my dog passed away before our own personal bed bug infestation got brought home, because it's fucking hell. We'd be on the verge of starving them out as they've grown fairly passive, but my brother's such a slob that he just shrugs off the problem and lets them get the chance to feed on him downstairs. And we can't get an exterminator in until we clean the house up, to boot. Good news is some setups in our house have basically forced them to be unable to feed on us upstairs, which is probably driving them off as my mother and I haven't seen one personally in a long while. Seriously, I feel like there's a bed bug epidemic with how many of my online friends have suddenly been worrying or complaining about them across the country.
Big Bang, he got banned on oldpunch. Dunno if he ever joined the new.
Really? I don't want to get off-topic, but what for? He always seemed fair and a nice guy to me.
it was in the old refugee camp. he got banned for something or another, then made a long post about how his life's been downhill since joining facepunch and he basically said to perma him so he could get out more.
he's on the new forums as @fnox
