I have not use staging branch since you first made it a separate branch. on 4/3 I decided to try it again to see thee new additions coming in today. During asset warm up loading into Facepunch US staging, the game closed (crashed). No error, no windows notification, just closed.
I assumed it was the current patch on staging not being stable. I have since gotten at least 3 updates to staging, but I still can't join a server. I have tried a few others from the community and the same thing has happened.
Also, I have no issues with Rust main branch.
Any suggestions on a fix for this?
make sure windows up to date, reinstall rust, verify integrity of game cache try those things
Windows is up to date. I uninstalled and reinstalled via steam, still just closes. Thanks for the suggestions though.
Forced a graphics driver update through Nvida Gameready, it now works!!
