I want to start taking better care of myself because well, I'm not getting any younger.
I don't really have the cash for a gym pass right now, so do you guys have any recommended fitness apps that you use?
It can be running, yoga, dieting apps, whatever, as long as it's about fitness.
I've been using 'Lotus - Yoga for beginners' recently.
It's got a lot of free classes and it's all very clear with optional audio instructions
Once you're in the swing of it and you know what kind of session you want to do you can create your own and alter the timings how you like. I haven't tried that yet but it's a smart little thing for people who aren't new and want to push themselves
MyFitnessPal would be your first step, just tracking you caloric intake and exercise makes huge headway into good habits.
Just treat all apps as training or tracking tools. They're not doing the work for you, just helping you get to a state where you can handle it by yourself.
MFP and fitbit are the only ones I use. MFP is unreliable for activity tracking though, really only good for nutrition.
Strava for tracking my runs, Progression for tracking my weightliftiing, MyFitnessPal for tracking what I eat
I use Fitocracy for tracking my lifts

I used Strava for a bit to log my runs and look at routes, but nowadays I usually default to an Excel sheet, a stopwatch, and a website that measures distances on Google Maps.
I used to use just regular old Samsung Health to track my caloric intake, but then I got a nutritionist who is calculating how much of each macronutrient I need, so I just have to look up nutritional information and calculate ahead of time how much of something I'm going to need per meal. I also use Samsung Health to track my steps because I have a Gear S2. I use the Garmin app to track my weight, BMI, etc. because it connects over wifi to my garmin scale.
