Welcome to the TF2 FP Server's first and totally not easter related event: The great gay frog hunt!
How does it work?
Each map will have 16 Frog to hunt. Each one of them will be spawned one after another. The frog in question is a non-moving, non-soundmaking frog prop. There is always only a single frog to be hunted for in the map. To get a frog, a player has to shoot it. Upon shooting the frog, the player will be awarded a point - have the most points, or hunted frogs if you will, to win! After a player has obtained a frog, another one will spawn after 20 seconds. After 100 seconds, a tip will appear to help players.
On which maps are we hunting gay frogs?
Maps hunted on will be cp_mountainlab, koth_nucleus, pl_upward, cp_steel
Wait, won't the time run out? Or people capping the objective? What about player damage?
During the frog hunt, all time in space will be halted. Alongside of that, objectives will be disabled and so will player damage. You can however still deal self damage.
Cant spectators find frogs faster and more effectively?
Frogs are automatically hidden from spectators
You said keys to be won?
The winners of each map will receive a key as a reward. These will be distributed shortly after the event by me and Nebrassy.
What is the Server IP? How many playerslots?
The server IP is 188.165.207.20:27024 - There will be 28 playerslots, as me and Nebrassy will take two in the meantime for logging and managing the event. The Server WILL BE PASSWORD PROTECTED! We will release the Password in the Facepunch Discord 30 minutes before the event, so if you want to ensure yourself a place, I'd recommend stalking it. Join LInk: Discord
