only thing I've experienced is being scammed. there's a story going around on a norwegian dread sub right now though where a large vendor was caught about a year ago who kept a customer list. names, addresses, that sorta thing. he gave it up in hope of a discount on his punishment and now police is calling his customers and asking about information, as well as informing them that they're calling everyone on the list. personally I can't remember if I ordered from that specific vendor myself so I'm a tiny bit nervous about this.

I've personally found the Dark Web to be extremely useful thus far myself.
I've never used the darknet because it's literally a honey pot and I have no reason to use it. if I want to do drugs, I go out and find them on the street like a smart person, not buy them over the internet with a cryptocurrency and have it delivered to my fucking house

Whilst I understand your reticence, it is actually really useful. I've ordered stuff from there a few times and it has always been reliable. MDMA, lorazepam and ketamine are things I have successfully ordered on there - I've never had a bad experience.
It may be reliable, but in reality you have a 0% chance of knowing whether you're ordering from a legitimate darknet supplier or an undercover sting operation. Reviews are untraceable and can be faked, pictures are just that - pictures, and you don't know what you're getting until you get it + test it. And even then, a controlled delivery is never off of the table. I'm much more comfortable dealing with a human, because at least they're readable and malleable.
Well, things may be different in other countries, but in the UK, the police don't give a shit about individuals buying drugs - they only care about the dealers. Weed is a class B drug here, but you only get an £80 ticket if you are caught smoking it.

How would that make any sense though? Ther is noway darknet buyer can verify who the real vendor is; the best they'd be able to get out of you is the username which they'd already know. It takes far too much time and resources for the police to be arresting people who buy enough drugs to get a fine. They did a sting operation for 2 months last year in my state and all they did was confiscate. No love letters or anything. Your package just wouldn't arrive. Police have bigger problems to attend too than a guy trying to buy a gram of molly.
yeah the darknet is safer than it sounds. I've been ordering drugs for 4 years by now and I've yet to experience any trouble. dealers tho, that's where problems usually happen for me
it's honestly safer on the darknet because using some basic phone's text messaging system can be very flawed and insecure if you ask me. Even if it's caught in the mail, depending on the state/country they might not be able to even do anything to you (if you've done everything to protect yourself)
yup. they need concrete evidence that you ordered it to be able to do anything to you. no matter how suspicious you act or how certain they are, they still need that evidence which shouldn't exist since TOR and PGP messages yada yada
The darknet is probably the most reliable and safest place to buy drugs. You're way more likely to be scammed or arrested buying from someone in person and text messages are infinitely less secure than PGP messages. I've bought things off the darknet so many times and have gotten much better quality *and* quantity than I ever would from a street dealer.

I have zero interest in illegal drugs, illegal gun ownership or child porn, so I have no reason to go to the dark web. Like I went to check out some of the drug stores there just to see them for myself, and then never came back ever.

Okay, so tell me? The largest DNM busts ever (UKB/HBB) still haven't had charges bought 18? Months later.
The fact that DNM dealers are rarely busted makes it pretty clear its a troll post.
How to bust a dark net dealer in three infuriatingly simple steps
1.) Bust 1+ customer(s) of said dealer, and offer to drop charges in return for information regarding the means of payment and origin of shipping.
2.) Stake out the post office that the packages are coming from, compare surveillance footage for regulars/non-regulars.
3.) Identify your dark net dealer, arrest them for trafficking illegal narcotics across state lines through the united states postal service / fedex / etc.
Just because you've not heard of all of the dark net dealers who have been busted, does not mean that no dark net dealers have been busted. I would have included more hyperlink examples of all of the dark net dealers you haven't heard about getting busted in exactly the 3-step-method I just laid out for you, but my fingers are already getting tired from embedding the links.

First two links aren't related to busting customers at all, it was an opsec fuck up by a market owner. Nothing to so with buyers.
Third link is fentanyl / carfentanyl which is justifiably getting a lot of heat. Even then your odds of getting busted are way higher making that purchase in person.
Your 3 step method doesn't work if the vendor applies basic opsec you realise? It literally works better on URL dealers.

I do have a response. Everything you've said in this thread has been wrong, not only in real-life experience of multiple people but also if you look at it logically.
Either you're just fear mongering or have no idea what you're talking about because your chances of being busted, especially for non-bulk orders, are basically zero.

I don't have any statistics on how much deals/month people make on dark net but it is not uncommon for packages not to arrive. I don't know how the law works where You live but the police has to have hard evidence *You* ordered the drug, and given you can use unregistered mail and order it as John Doe under your address is not an unreasonable way of getting your ass at least a lil bit protected, it's not like they would buy that excuse anyway.
Most of the mail (again I'm basing the information on my country) is unregistered, and I doubt a dark net vendor would do registered mail, for safety reasons. It would be pretty hard to track origin of such a package, but this might vary from country to country.
Domestic mail is pretty secure because it is not checked as much as international (in Europe), and even then international mail is mostly secure unless You goof and order something from Netherlands.
In the end it all comes down to dealers opsec and plain fucking luck. If the police would have a reliable way of tracking down the packages all markets would be dead by now because people would not be willing to risk the shipping.

in finland theres basically TOR picture board(s) for drugs (usually just one popular one active at once) and you can easily set up f2f trades there, like people post threads with prices their wickr to contact. Anything similar to this in other countries or is f2f trading more traditional?
