So. Will the "Ingame Editor" allow for sculpting and water (Including the shaders and buoyancy space)? I love to make maps for this but would like to know what to expect beforehand and know what would be best to practice with in the meantime before release. ((Currently using ARK Dev Kit on UE4, as it has an awesome level design tool.))
You can use any editor that exports a format you can write a loader for. My editor is just a proof of concept of an in game editor, it's no where near complete.
Where can I best find a UE4 level editor to practice with?
It doesn't necessarily have to made on UE4, there just needs to be a format you can write a loader for. I've been using Unity so I can export it as an FBX, which I believe already has a loader written for it as an engine addon.
True, but I figured the best way to make addons would be with UE4, I'd get used to the capabilities and weaknesses of UE4 that way.
