Steam wont run Rust/Rust Client wont connect to servers

Everytime i press play on Steam, the launchers loads and loading bar, finishes and then does nothing.

I have even ran the client as administrator and when trying to connect to a server on that it never connects regardless of the ping

Any help on how to actually get the game started, cause bought it two weeks ago and havent even been able to play a game yet.
