Reminds me a lot of earlier Jontron (the good ones)
Scott's got a great snappy delivery and sense of humor but I think the cracks are starting to show in his format. Outside of the aforementioned delivery and sense of humor the meat of the video is still cookie cutter YouTuber game reviewer. I commend him for being able to release a video every fuckin' week but he might benefit from switching to a bi-weekly format to focus on his strengths. Since he's blown up pretty hard lately the algorithm probably won't eat him alive for taking more time on videos. But hey, just my opinion.
I don't keep up anymore- hes pretty much dead in the water, yeah?
Don't think so, he's just very slow in producing and posting content.
I'm sorry if I think beyond his presentation there's not much. I don't want the seem jealous but full disclosure I have tried my hand at this myself, and am pretty pants at it. Specifically delivery and editing, I always quite liked my writing. So it's very easy you could explain away my opinions with that. But if you don't want to then my major problem with him seems to be that his mediocre writing is completely masked by well developed editing and delivery. Scott might be great at the presentation but I think he's a straight up boring writer who has very little of value to say. I've spoken to a fair few tiny content creators that feel the same too. I feel this way about a lot of up and comers, Hugbox for example is literally just an eloquent video conversion of the YouTube comments section, and don't even get me started on CleanPrinceGaming. It just seems like there's three ways to get successful in YouTube gaming. Either be Scott and look great with little substance, Hugbox and appeal to the lowest common denominator, or CleanPrince and make half arsed cash ins on better content. pls don't kill me
