I suggest you start from scratch making maps rather than recompiling. Having a BSP for a map does not mean you have all the assets that are used in it and for you to compile it properly you will at least need the textures and static prop models. It may sound harsh but if this is your first time mapping no answer I give will be satisfactory in getting it to work.
