Alrighty!
I did something stupid, and volunteered myself for creation of an Advertisement that will be run in a local magazine. This is not my specialty as I've been out of graphic design and creative work in general for several years but I really want to get back into it, hence why I've volunteered myself for this job.
This is an ad for a couple of golf courses celebrating their 50th anniversary, and to thank them for carrying their insurance through our company. It's a small 4.75 inch by 4.75 inch ad.
I've got the general idea and layout of the ad all done, I've got most of the logo's I require to properly list both my company, and the two golf courses.
My real issue is in the wording of this and trying to nail down the display of the text itself.
Currently I have:
"Heres to celebrating the 50th Anniversary of ______________ & ___________ Golf Courses!
Congratulations on 50 years of achieving excellence!"
I've come up with a lot of different variations basically saying the same thing, and I'm still missing a line to associate them with our coverage.
I've put a bounty on the post, if anyone would like to help you'd get some coins as well as my eternal love.
I like where you're going with the first one you have, but it's to wordy, especially for a small ad. I like the words "achieving excellence" from your second line.
"Celebrating 50 years of excellence"
< Logo>
how about
"From *your company* to _____ & _____ Golf Courses,
Thank you for your trust and congratulations on 50 years of achieving excellence!"
Thanks to both of you for your input.
I created some versions of the ad and with some feedback from the team here at my office we narrowed it down to two.
I'd post them here but they both contain the logo for my employer which I'd rather not disclose atm.
