• End Space (Now on Steam for Rift, Vive and MMR, featuring my VO)

I thought I'd make a thread talking about a game I had the pleasure of working on a couple of years ago. Initially it was for mobile devices, the Gear VR, and Google Cardboard, but last year it came out on the PSVR, and now it's finally available on Steam. http://www.thevrgrid.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/End-Space-Header.jpg End Space is an arcade-styled space shooter for VR devices with a wide variety of control options for comfort and ease of use. It's a relatively simple game, reminiscent of the old days of X-Wing vs Tie Fighter, Rogue Squadron and the like. Its visuals are pretty crisp for a VR game, and it's a good way to add some variety to your VR library. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBenBa-SZ0c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHvycME_HeQ I'm kind of proud of this one; it was my very first paid gig as a voice actor, and the devs tell me there are likely going to be even more missions for the game in the future, if it is well received. I feel, looking back, that if I had the skill then that I do now, I could've done a somewhat better job, but then again I'm never satisfied with my work. Lemme know if it looks interesting, and what you think of it!
Reviews on Steam say the game has control issues and is a bit too easy. I'm a bit worried about the control part myself as I'm totally okay with an easy game being more of a spectacle. Would you recommend playing this with the vive wands or with a controller ? Is there anything you can do with hand models or are you more or less affixed ?
You can play with a controller (Which many reviewers recommend, actually) and you can set it so that you look to aim instead of steer.
