Hello.
So i've never experienced this before, but it started happening after a 1 month break from Rust.
First time this happened was April 9.
So what happens is that when i'm connected to any server which got a website, the website will randomly open up in firefox, several times during gameplay. This usually happens while I'm writing in the chat on the server.
So when the server do not have a website, all controlls will freeze untill I press the escape button, just like there were an invisible window on the screen. The game is not frozen, but i cannot do any actions within the game untill i hit the escape button on my keyboard.
Have anyone else experienced this, and if you did manage, how did you fix it?
I have players reporting this same issue. Attempting to gather more information to reproduce their issue, but so far I haven't been able to. Definitely seems to be a client issue. If FP has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated.
So i have still not found any permanent solution to this problem, but i figured out that it's some sort of keybinding issue. When i reset keybindings to default, the issue gets resolved for a short period of time, but it's not a fix, as it will happen again at a later point. What i've also noticed, that might have something to do with this, is that my autorun (Console > bind c forward;sprint) does not work anymore. It will however work for a short period of time if I input this into console.
Also having this problem, however it's bound to my spacebar so I can't jump unless I rebind my jump key and even then, it's still happening when I type. Only solution is to type "bind space" in the console, but that only sticks until i tab out or open the menu. I've checked my keybinds file and there is nothing bound there other than jump.
