• Cars kill player on dismount

 Failed to find dismount position for player :playername/steamID on obj : assets/content/vehicles/sedan_a/sedantest.entity.prefab Killing player due to invalid dismount point :playername/steamID on obj : assets/prefabs/vehicle/seats/driverseat.prefab This happens every time when player exits a vehicle. It is very frustrating, and I couldnt find anything about this problem. If you need more information, I'll provide more.
Same issue here. Anytime someone exits the sedan, it kills them.
It seems to be location based. For example, I have no issues at all getting out at my base, but when near a monument or another player's home, it kills me on exit with the error listed in OP. Maybe build rights have something to do with it? Just speculating currently as I have no other ideas yet.
cars are not even officially in the game... (hit - look for help with the plug-in creator)
Except this isn't just on modded servers. It's happened to me and friends numerous times just from trying to dismount from a chair on Official servers. When it happens the only way to dismount from the chair is to disconnect. Reconnecting shows me the last death I actually had (was killed by a guy with an AK a ways away from my base about 20 minutes beforehand, showed me the same death screen and showed me at that location). When I respawned I went over to the chair I was in, couldn't see my corpse but a friend could, he had to loot it for me and put it in a chest so I could get my gear back. I wasn't sure what it was as it's only happened a few times since the wipe but this seems to be the same issue.
Actually, thats good to know, and thanks for the heads up. I've warned the server I frequent about it also doing it with chairs.
Testing it out here's what I know for sure. I placed a chair, no issues dismounting. I place something close to it and I can no longer get out of the chair after mounting it. Picking up the chair and moving it to a different location seems to fix it, almost like the area required around it to place is the necessary space for both the object in game and the space needed to dismount, but it doesn't restrict placement of other objects in the required mount area (only the space occupied by the object) so it results in a situation where there's not enough room to dismount. For the chair the option to dismount just goes away in that circumstance which results in the player being killed the instant they disconnect when the game tries to force them out of the chair. Not sure why the corpse isn't visible afterwards. I could see my friends corpse but he couldn't see his own and vice versa.
wait, so are we talking cars (not officially ingame, can "test them" on the staging server) - or chairs, which are officially ingame?!?
I'm only talking about chairs as I only play on official servers but it sounds like the same problem. Same error message, same action (trying to dismount), same resolution (it kills the player).
