I'm a little bit surprised to see McCain there. Could it be because of his now-notorious habit of opposing Trump with his words but supporting him with his votes?
I'm worried about Bernie because hes like 3 centuries old and what if hes not the immortal god emperor we think he is???
He's been disapproving of Trump which likely lost him Republican support, and kept turning around and voting for Republican bs, which lost him any potential approval from Democrats
Well not with that attitude he won't be, mister!
was initially surprised to see Murkowski in the bottom ten, and Ted Cruz nowhere to be seen, but then I had the realization that it was on a state-by-state basis
it's legitimately shocking to see that Ted has a 49% approval. The guy's an unpleasant, greasy mannequin. It boggles my mind that people would legit support him
We'll just resurrect him as a 35 year old with the dragonballs.
Serial killers do tend to have their own fanbases. Ted "Zodiac Killer" Cruz is no exception.
He's like the Dalai Lama, they choose a new Bernie when the current one dies
Very happy to see Klobuchar on the list. She's stellar - spoke at my college's graduation last year. Wasn't the greatest public speaker we've had, but an excellent senator nonetheless. Still optimistic she'll be the one to break Minnesota's bad-luck presidential streak at some point.
Disappointed to see literally every single vocally anti-Trump Republican on the top disapproval list. This is why Republicans refuse to speak out against Trump - because if they do, their constituents will turn on them. Except McConnell, someone needs to slap some duct-tape on his turtle hole and throw him back in the toxic waste dump he crawled out of.
That's weird I would have sworn John McCain was woke tumor bae and unelectable Bernie robbed mother of the presidency with his divisiveness. Sounds like this must be fake news.
Here's hoping we never have to worry about Dread Pirate Sanders.
Chuck Grassley belongs on that list, I wish the goddamn farmers would stop voting him in. He's the biggest goddamn embarrassment in Iowa.
Every time he opens his fucking mouth it's to say something stupid.
I was hoping Nunes would be on the bottom list.
The fact that the most popular senator in the country "isn't even a real Democrat waaahhhh" tells you everything you need to know about the Democratic Party.
Hard to be an unpopular Senator when you aren't one to begin with.
Gnna keep saying this.
Run, Bernie. Run.
It's exactly this. Doing that angers Trumps supporters and detractors.
Whilst liberals may hate Cruz, don't forget that he still managed to place 2nd in the primaries, although IIRC, that was partly due to what political analysts call 'fuckery' in Colorado in terms of him taking the majority of the delegates despite not taking a majority of the vote.
As a Texan I don't even know anyone who likes Ted Cruz.
like I don't doubt there's people voting for him, but I was like 99% sure it was just out of 'we don't want the dirty lie-berals winning' and not 'we actually like this sad-faced lump of sweaty soap'
but, lo and behold, 49% of texans seem to be into it
Yeah, but how many people do you know that don't like Ted Cruz buuuuut hate the Blue Team even more, so Cruz it is?
Have you ever done any research on the Athenian or Roman systems? The roman system is particular was heavily weighted towards rich people by design, don't consider it to be somehow a more free democracy
Whilst it was weighted towards the Patrician and Equestrian classes, you forget that the system of using having presidential equivalents who could only have a one year term once every ten years was great for integrity. There's also the fact that the Roman Republic's "presidents" (AKA Consuls} had to share power with another consul, an ingenious idea that I wish both America and Britain had adopted.
I was kinda surprised to see Tammy Baldwin up there as she kicks ass, but then I realized that Wisconsin is still the Alabama of the north and is filled with a bunch of backwater hicks who hate liberals for being liberals which is the entire reason our dipshit governor got into office. This state man.
Most of the "anti-Trump" republicans are just paying lip service. Jeff Flake, for instance did a lot of grandstanding about Trump being so bad and mean and then went on to vote with Trump over 90% of the time.
I know it's a funny joke but this is just a reminder that Ted Cruz was like two years old when the Zodiac Killer claimed his first victim.
Sad to see McCaskill, Manchin, and Baldwin there. All up for re-election in 2018 in states Trump won. McCaskill especially is a worry.
As good a job as Ancient Athens and the Roman Republic?
Forgetting the fact that both collapsed, Ancient Athens only had Democracy for a very small sect and even that was completely ineffective at the best of times and the Roman Republic was extremely unstable and prone to political infighting and was eventually knocked over by its terrible management of its military.
god, so much bloodthirst even at two years of age. the depths of human savagery will never cease to shock me.
